A GENERAL GUIDE

It can often be helpful to initially break down the designs and quotes into distinct options; this generally helps to set a clear budget and streamline the overall process. Of course, many projects begin to vary from these options as the design starts to evolve, but as an initial starting point the guide below can help give an indication to costs involved.

Studio Standard: Stylistically striking, a high end birch ply or equivalent is normally used throughout to create a contemporary, modern feel. Material and finish choices are usually a little more limited within standard options.

Guide starting price, mid-sized built in wardrobe approx £2400

Intermediate: More flexibility of style is achieved through greater veneer choice and hardwood edging options. A select amount of painted finishes can be included if required

Guide price uplift, mid-sized built in wardrobe approx + £600

Premium: Veneer choices include hardwearing formica laminates - enabling a wide range of durable colour options. Solid wood elements such as desk tops or panelled doors can be included as a feature within this option.

Guide price uplift, mid-sized built in wardrobe approx + £1200 - £1600

Bespoke: In many instances, a design is worked up from an early stage with a more specific vision or style in mind, whether it be in the home or in a commercial setting. Often utilising a combination of hardwoods, cladding, panelling and so on, and with greater initial design time expected, prices will often depend very much on the complexity required with the final piece.
